Self improvement;[part 2] My kind of February: Leadership training.

Good day Hivers what's up!

In Continuation of this my last post regarding on our activity on the month of February: Leadership training.

  • After of giving the inspirational words from the guest speakers. Our dear faculties given us a task to do and it's done with groupings. As we are all came from different department and we practice dissimilar ways of leading and perspectives. So it's quite a challenge to do.

Fist activity given to us is to make improvise logo made of recycled materials.

It was fun, a lot of creative ideas presented along the group. But I admit it was hard to convince and do a teamwork especially when each of us has a unique ideas and want to pursue. However, in the end we made it and able to agree on how to do it and divide the work for us to make it done on time. Perhaps of those, during the activity I conclude that though we poses the behavior and an image of being a leader , there are times that we faced hardships and one of those is making people around you understand what's s your vision and its importance ,especially on getting thier support and consideration.

Along the session I had uncovered more discoveries, especially on the behavior of a leader that should possess. Being transparent to deal the situation even if it is positive or negative and open to the feedback and everything is the first thing I or we should practice.

Avoid being BLUE = •Blaming yourself, looking for bad news, Unhappy guessing and Exaggeratedly negative according to Mrs. David as situation occur unpredictably as long as we are doing our best and giving what we got it's okay. It's not bad to say "NO" if we can't it's being honest on what we can do. Like what I've mentioned on my previous Blog Selfcare isn't selfish as we care to other's we should also care ourselves.
Instead Be a leader who possess ARMS =• Aware of yourself and informed, Recognize and think of ways to manage and work hard,Manage to choose a solution and excuse and lastly, Salamat(Thank You) gratitude.

Aside of learnings, I also got a chance to reunite with my friends form other departments.

I've got a chance to consult them " how are you?" "How's life?", anyways we've just talking ,updates about what's latest . As always about school activities, reporting and things to do. But it's good to be with them again even in a short time. This leadership training gives us lesson and time to showcase what we got and have as a student leader and makes us realize the possible quality that we can develop in near future.

We've shared everything and witness creativity, talent and everything from each other. Now I understand why having seminars , trainings and team building develop individual, and if ever I got a chance again to be with this kind of activity for me it's opportunity.

That's all, for this blog and for my kind of February. I hope you get something on my post and feel free to drop your comments. 🤗

It's almost not easy to do teamwork when you are someone who likes working alone.

But I am happy you guys found a balance.

Beautiful shots though.

Exactly, but on that day adjustment is needed. And we got a very understanding fellow student that lead us and always ask our opinion and consider it. Though it takes time but you can feel that you are part of the time and responsible to do your part.

Thank you for dropping by😊

Awesome experience and topic too. It's truly an opportunity to be in one of the courses that help us develop ourselves. I used to love things like that and if I were to get a chance to do it, I definitely would.
