RE: Hive Is For People Who Want It

For me, one of the cool things about Hive is precisely that each account potentially can be "its own business" with its own focus and revenue stream.

But beyond the surface, that can also be anything from the full-time blogger/content creator like yourself, to an occasional hobbyist/photographer, to the "play to earn" enthusiast to the person with a specific interest, whether it's art, gardening, writing or something else... who can use Hive's features in the way they might have used "Facebook groups," except here you can actually build something, separate from fears of being deplatformed/demonetized.

To this point, Hive's primary "achilles heel" seems to be the 7-day rewards window. Content creators are used to "views" counting for something, "from now to forever." I realize that's not going to change, but it does present a challenge, in terms of how Hive is "presented" to potential new users.

Those will be the ones who want to be on Hive.

It is going to be amazing when the second layer stuff starts to excel. The opportunities will only grow then.
