I think that the activity of other people you talk with matters more with how fast you earn Hive tip tokens, unless you are referring to how much HIVE or HBD you will earn from votes on your posts and comments. 😏

Not only the latter that you mentioned, but it also includes staking rewards from LISTNERDS and CTP as well as incentives from SME.
