The company has lots of things that say "we would rather you try and move to a different job in the company then leave and go somewhere else" type mindset.
My company is much the same and is pretty good at retaining people overall, as well as letting them experiment a bit. A good business culture to have is a growth mindset, where employees grow too.
That's great to hear! I guess working in a different industry changes things. My previous employer really didn't want you to do anything like that so I'm not used to that lol.
I've been exploring a lot of the HR things and notices about employee life so I think I'll schedule a meeting with my manager to see if I can broach the topic.
