Ouch, those are some tough ones! I was just writing in my post today about how my wife and I finally got a will and trust set up so that when we are gone our loved ones don't have to deal with figuring it out or fighting the courts for what happens to our "stuff".
Yep, having no last will and testament is pretty irresponsible for those left behind I think, a good thing you got it done.
In addition, I have power of attorney set up and care directives as well in the advent of my girl having to take over my affairs if I'm incapacitated and unable to do so and to make medical decisions for me if I cannot, like authorising operations or turning off life support. She has the same in reverse.
We got all of that set up as well. It was all included in the trust. Wills, trust, durable power of attorney, medical directives, and a lady bird deed for the house. Now we just need to decide if we want to get something pre-planned with the funeral home.
We are intending to do pre-paid funeral plans, very basic funerals in which we're burned to a crisp. I think it takes a lot of stress and burden off those left behind and considering one of us may die before the other, leaving one person to have to deal with it, we think it's a good thing.
I agree with all of that (even the burning) and we will likely get something similar planned out in the near future!

I don't really have another plan to secure my future. Crypto is already my plan B but it seems that plan A(rt) is not gonna secure that future for me. For sure not to a point there I could do international dating with a hot russian girl...😛 So at this point my plan is Crypto and if that will fail I will return to plan A and just fake my death.
Those hot Russian girls only respond to money or so I'm told, (a mate of mine had one he married who then divorced him at the first chance she got and took half of everything through the usual legal divorce process).
Anyway, hopefully between your art and crypto you'll manage to create the financial future you want.
Good thing that I don't plan to marry her then. But meeting once or twice a year could be fun.
