I'm looking forward to a good weekend though, there's a truck show on in a little spot on the river and I'm heading there on Sunday and I'll be at the range shooting on Saturday so it'll be a good one...it's also a long weekend with a public holiday on Monday so that's nice. What? Well, head turned looking at a lovely lady for a little too long and walking into poles. I say poles (plural) as I didn't learn my lesson the first time. Or the second, third forth...You get the idea. I also went to walk into one of those infernal glass-fronted buildings one day and thought I had the door. Put my hand out to push it but it was just a window panel...crashed into it with my face. Don't worry, my face is messed up already so no damage was done.
I think we all do stuff like that, and hope no one sees it, but people do and they laugh. It's just part of life.
Anyway, the topics are out there for better or worse and it's up to the punters to make of them what they will.

lol totally. As a funny woman who is generally one of the guys and likes talking smack i have been a sufferer of the stupidity! Just because im approachable and easy to talk to does not mean i am interested! They do it get the older they get - if they develop sufficient social skills.
We also had these! Americas funniest home videos! Used to love it as a kid! Also kids say the darnedest things! Not sure if you had that one, but kids bring out all the files about whats happening to the peeps around them. From their perspective its super hilarious!

Yeah man, I got some bad news and overall it was just shitty...but some pew pew tomorrow will help. I'm running and gunning tomorrow, drawing from the holster (IPSC) in an urban town complex with active targets...Three hundred rounds or so all up I figure. That'll help perk up the weekend.

All the weeks can't go as planned but how we handle the twist matters a lot and I know you did great with not allowing anything to hinder you from having a great weekend.
The truck show, I will pass on that but I will definitely be at the shooting range if I had the privilege to disappear and reappear for a while. At least I can watch how things are been done, learn how to disarm and assemble a rifle...

Most (adult) kids can say that. I think there is something irrationally rebellious about being told what not to do. Were you ever given a reason? One of my pet peeves about parenting is the "because I told you so". Which is why I always give my children a reason. I also try to avoid the DON'T and rather advise to not but surrounded by explanation. Does that make sense? I guess this answers your human nature topic. I was badly injured as a child because I was told not to do something, never given a reason, and so I did it (based on the assumed reason and disproving it).
She hated tattoos and what (she thought) they stood for I guess. The guns and motorbikes...just scared of them through lack of any experience. People fear what they don't know I guess. No reasons were given though, I was just forbidden.
The guns came first, I was very young.
The tattoos and motorbikes next although I was 30...old enough to make decisions after a lot of life experience in many things. Since then, more of each has happened, but the thing I got the most was guns. Lots of them. Lol.
Funny though, none of these things became a detraction of who I was as a man, didn't lessen my humanness, or diminish my personality traits which I value and feel are righteous. I'm still just me.

Ah ok, yeah I've not been able to get it to work for a while either, hence me giving some as transfers this week, and probably other weeks too.

I'm going to be doing some grilling and breaking in my new Blackstone, so I am excited about that!
It's a jet boat and can run in 10cm of water. Twin jets, super fast. It's sucks up the water from below and jets it out so runs in bugger all water. Half a million dollars of boat. I was there to ride them, so cool, went twice. They run them to about a metre from the gorge and super fast.
When I took this I was standing on the bank after my first ride. It's cool as the boat looks like it's coming right at me. I have a video of my own ride, but here's the one of YouTube.

Oh yeah, summer break. How many weeks is it, say for the high school kids? They have the break here over Christmas which is our summer, it's ten weeks I think. Then there's a few terms during the year with more. If only adults got that much time off.
They have to come back in the middle of August, so probably about 10 weeks. My wife gets the summer off. I have to work the whole time. I don't mind though, it's quiet with the teachers gone.
