I'm sitting at a café writing this, enjoying a coffee; it's mid-afternoon Friday and my week is done. I've nothing planned for the weekend really, I'm free-stylin', how about you? Any plans?
As always, I've got some writing suggestions for the #weekend-engagement concept in case you are looking for posting ideas over the weekend. Maybe this will cheer you up, maybe not. My weekend started Thursday. I took a couple days off and went north and west to get out of the heat. It's a little cooler here than the city, especially in the morning. I'm in a little island farm village close to North Korea.
Bad news is I don't get much wifi here and I have to back at work Monday. Good news is it's the weekend now.
It's great to have a long weekend now and then and I think it's not a bad thing to have no wifi; disconnecting for a while isn't a bad thing.
Keep an eye on the north mate, if you spot anything unusual call 911. Lol.
That's funny. I got an emergency message warning everyone on the island not to open any packages in the mail yesterday. I don't know what that was about, but I'm safe at home and back to work. I do like the speed of wifi here.

I like to put something in there for the really adventurous writers, one never knows when someone will bust out something hilarious on a topic designed for exactly that, @blanchy has done so quite a few times.

For this Friday I am only hours away from turning in my guard, so I will have this weekend off, I have nothing planned, although I am thinking of hiking on Saturday morning to open my mind a bit, interesting topics for this purpose, we'll see which topic we go with
That's great, the weekend off. A hike is a good way to put a gap between the working week and the weekend and on it you may think up something else to do for the weekend.
Okay, well this weekend's posts should be interesting. Especially if someone decides to write and even use their own photos about nipple tweaking.
I have been freestyling a little too much these days. Going to try and make this my first structured weekend in a a long time. Working out of the old to-do list and journal starting today. Nothing particular planned for now, but once I get to writing things out here soon, I am sure there will be. Have a great one!

Cold here...rainy too at times, but more just cold. Cleo is ok, she snuggles up and sleeps a lot, I don't mind though, often that snuggling and sleeping happens on my lap.

Hello @galenkp, greetings from Venezuela among all your proposals for the weekend I identify with the self-care, my other option was a song that I can not stand, but maybe I would have biased too much because I can not stand what here in Latin America called Reggaeton as it sexualizes and mistreats women in his lyrics, I really can not stand a famous singer who has even been named one of the best composers in the world but his lyrics are terrible.

Self care is an important part of life in my opinion, vital towards creating a good and wholesome life.
And yep, those artists that create songs like you mention are assholes. But people support them for some reason. Probably other assholes.
All my days are full of happiness, especially because music fills me with a lot of tranquility, but as nothing is perfect, that happiness is broken when I have to ride a public bus, there the happiness goes to a trash can, the music they play is terrible.
My happiness returns when I get off, and I am finally at home.

As you say in the reply to a comment, some songs are terrible, and their creators are assholes and so are the people who listen to them and support them,
certainly too little time for all the songs that are really bad.
They go for shock value, probably because they've got no real talent and nothing much to offer.

On the other hand, are you watching the Australian women's soccer team in the world cup? Did you go to the first game?
I watched the game, but was not personally in attendance. Are you getting it streamed live? Who do you think will win?
Do you plan to watch any of them at the stadium?
I haven't seen any of them in their entirety yet because most of them are in the early morning hours here, but I keep an eye on the summaries and results on a daily basis.
I think Brazil, Colombia and Spain have great chances, but of these three I see Brazil as having the best chances.
Which team do you think will win?
Most of the games are occurring in other States many thousands of kilometres away (and in New Zealand) however the following will be held in my city and I may go and see one, depending on ticket availability.
I think possibly Brazil or Spain although I'd like to see Australia win, If they can get through the initial games without Sam Kerr they may have a chance once she's back. We'll see.
Of those teams if you could see the English girls or Brazil it would be nice, although it's a pity you can't see the Australian girls.
In the first game they did well but in several parts of the second half they dropped the level in defense, they must improve to maintain aspirations.
Yeah I agree, I'd like to see some Brazilian girls.
The Aussies were a bit disappointing to be honest and they'll certainly have to improve if they want to make it all the way, let's see what happens and either way I think it'll be a good tournament.
