RE: Weekend-engagement week 67: The important week

I think my answer was too intense, by comparison. Lol. I am curious about what type of calendar you use. My life is chaos. I mean, I mostly like it that way, but it would be nice to inject a little order.

I know sunscreen is important, but I never use it. It's hard because, for one thing, I live in Edmonton, Canada which is North. Wayyyy North. We have about the same climate as Siberia. I remember reading about Siberia as a kid and feeling sorry for people who had to live there. I think imagining a place colder than my own home just made me sad. The joke was on me.

I recently got an instant pot, so I am right there with you about the pressure cooker. Except, if I am honest, my fiancé does 99.9% of the cooking.

Did you say which of the three was most important to you? I am a bit tired, so I might have missed it.

Smile.... Nice though ❤️❤️, cool places at times is not good, but if you ask me I'll prefer staying in cool place than places that are having high temperature degree, if the place is cool you can as well use clothes that will make you warm.

Nothing wrong with your response at all! I realized I took a slight bit of a different more casual approach than the rest of the comments.

I simply use a google calendar to inject some order 😆. I like the way you said it. Since everything is online, I figured an onlike calendar won't be all too bad.

I live in Toronto but it doesn't get super cold like Edmonton . Heard it can be as bad as -50 there. I will be sending some warmth your way ✨

You got me here! I don't do a lot of cooking either 😆.

Out of the three, I would pick pressure cooker. I have seen myself when I get hangry and it is something I try to avoid 🙃 hahaha. I feel you on the tired part. It is almost 1 am here! Glad to meet another fellow Canadian. I am too keen on checking out Alberta. The views are stunning there. I won't bother with international travel at all until I first check out Alberta and BC a bit more.

Not usually -50, but it has been -40 and it is often below -25. Crazy!

When you said the views were stunning in Alberta, at first I thought you were talking about the political views and I know, right? But then I realized you meant, like, the Rocky Mountains, Lake Louise, etc. And those are stunning also.

Hahahahah yess I meant the nature views. I have seen Jasper Lake in pictures when friends who visited came back and showed it to me. It looks surreal 💫💫

Phew glad to hear its not as bad as -50 all the time but still it can be quite cold! Tea is my savior during winter time. It instantly warms me up.

Hmm you live in Toronto!!! 🤭
This engagement fun is making me know more about you all 😊 and I'm excited about it

yes merit! I do live in Toronto. I will be checking out more responses soon. It is very fun to learn bits and pieces about everyone here. I am excited to read about your response for the question 😉

Ahaaa I love your excitement, go on and read a little about me 😌
Keep engaging

😂 😂 You're a funny one, really.... Inject some order? That's a new way of saying what you mean and I think I'm taking that, thanks.

Your fiance do most of the cooking but I hope you try to cook some delicious meals for him sometimes just as a thank you and encouragement 😊

Thank you. I try to be kind to him in many ways, but I think cooking for him would be more of a punishment for him than a treat. We have to accept our limitations in life.

I can cook rice quite competently. And toast. And warm up soup. He didn't fall in love with me for my cooking skills. You would have to ask him what the hell possessed him to ask me to marry him. The fool! Lol. (He says I am kind and funny, but I think he means kinda funny, which is not quite the same.)

The first ex Mrs. Big Tom could burn water. She once made an omelette thing that I decided to share with the cat when my wife was up getting more wine. She tried to bury it in the linoleum floor.

Which is when I mostly took over the cooking chores. You see, I love to eat :)

So you understand! However, I can make an omelette. One of the few exceptions. Also, I can provide almost endless amounts of praise and gratitude when someone cooks for me. Genuinely heartfelt!

Ohhhhhh. Pink Chowder.

My ex actually had a dish she could make really well. It was for a clam bisque and her aunt wrote the recipe specifically for her. It really wasn't a recipe so much as two pages of instructions :)

Oh, man. We'd had it at the Aunt's house at Christmas (with clams they had dug from their place on Vashon Island) and she begged for it. Her aunt was familiar with her cooking skills so gave her detailed instructions.
