I was the same; would make for a very high intensity night when our family would whip this out - so much so that usually people would refuse to play with me. I guess we were more of a card games family. But, glad to find a kindred spirit seeking world conquest. ;)

This happened with me and Monopoly. I actually self-restrict Monopoly playing because, well losing at Monopoly doesn't sit well with me, or go well for other players. Lol.
Ah, see, I'm not a fan of Monopoly. Cribbage on the other hand - when I end up booking myself into the retirement centre, it won't be because I'm in need of care, it'll be because I'm bored and looking for someone to play with. (You know, I nearly typed that as, 'Looking for some gamers' - certainly would be looking to re-invent that term).
I used to know how to play cribbage but, thinking about it now, I can't recall how. I used to play it with a chap at work in between action. Passed the time.
