It's difficult to do without a phone. Everything has been set up to make a person dependent on that and the internet. I'm working towards dumping mine, same as yourself.

It's actually pretty easy. I deleted all apps. I use it for nothing but texts and calls. Now and then GPS. Just stop taking it everywhere. Liberating!
