Šetalište ispod palmi/Promenade under palm trees

Ovog puta, četkica me povela do obale – tamo gde se put i more sreću u ritmu života.

This time, the brush led me to the shore - where the road and the sea meet in the rhythm of life.

Naslikala sam šetalište koje pulsira svakodnevicom: automobili prolaze, biciklisti promiču, šetači uživaju u pogledu, a visoke palme bacaju dugačke senke po toplom asfaltu. Sve se kreće, ali ništa ne žuri.

I painted a promenade that pulsates with everyday life: cars pass by, cyclists pass by, walkers enjoy the view, and tall palm trees cast long shadows on the warm asphalt. Everything is moving, but nothing is in a hurry

More, iako samo na rubu kadra, tiho je prisutno – njegov plavi horizont odjekuje u svakom refleksu, u sjaju stakla, u senci palme.

The sea, although only at the edge of the frame, is quietly present - its blue horizon echoes in every reflection, in the shine of glass, in the shadow of a palm tree.

Talasi se ne vide, ali se osećaju, kao blagi ritam u pozadini gradske simfonije.

The waves cannot be seen, but they are felt, like a gentle rhythm in the background of the city symphony.

Ovaj akvarel je zapravo pokušaj da uhvatim trenutak u kojem se svakodnevica pretvara u prizor vredan posmatranja.

This watercolor is actually an attempt to capture the moment in which the everyday turns into a sight worth watching.

Jer, lepota nije samo u dramatičnim pejzažima i usamljeničkim trenucima – često se krije upravo u susretima: pogledi koji se mimoiđu, biciklista koji zastane da udahne miris mora, svetlo koje se odbija od vetrobranskog stakla.

Because, beauty is not only in dramatic landscapes and lonely moments - it is often hidden precisely in encounters: glances that pass each other, a cyclist who stops to breathe in the smell of the sea, the light that reflects from the windshield.

U tom prizoru – jednostavnom, živom i bliskom – pokušala sam da zabeležim ritam koji poznajemo, ali retko zaista vidimo.
