Certainly the less you talk the more you listen and you may have better discernment skills, but you can't generalize about that, sometimes silent people have a problem of social adaptation or are distracted. Silence is used as a defense but also as a way to escape reality. I have Asperger's Syndrome and I am silent and maybe I have all the advantages that you mention, but it would be necessary to investigate what percentage of people fit in that generalization. @tipu curate 3
