So I was strolling around the outskirts of the city, I had a number of windows to climb through, alas I failed. the buildings were either in the process of being dropped. Or were tighter than a ducks arse.

Wonder how much this lot has cost the tax payer? Money that could be better spent, schools, health services, road maintenance et al.

awesome artworks. it´s quite interesting that the council sponsored art is not as good as the non-authoriced art.
but don´t be so harsh on the sponsored artists. at first: the council spends so much money on much worse things. but i understand you absolutely. maybe it´s better to but begrudge the artists a few cents. it´s not so easy earning a living from art. the artists get the theme and than they have to create a plan for the artwork. if they do what they want really often there is no way to get a wall. so they are doing what the council-guys want to see. and that´s it. but me ether, i don´t like all this sponsored "artworks" the worst stuff are the paintings for the big global companies. that´s absolutely sell-out.
