Today I'm showing you a long wall done in 2021 by a group of artists, Grils, Fokus, Fleo, Omar Bernal Benítez and Monk.E. It decorates the entrance to a viaduct in a rather industrial neighborhood, but with a few artists' studios. Always interesting murals in this neighborhood.

Aujourd'hui, je vous propose un long mur réalisé en 2021 par un groupe d'artistes, Grils, Fokus, Fleo, Omar Bernal Benítez et Monk.E. Il décore l'entrée d'un viaduc dans un quartier plutôt industriel mais avec quelques studios d'artistes. Toujours des murales intéressantes dans ce quartier.

WHERE

Just before the viaduct on Ontario Street in Montreal. We're not far from the Legal Wall de Rouen. The neighborhood is full of StreetArt, the red lines are the murals I know about (already written a post on them) but there are probably hidden treasures in the back alleys* 😀.

Juste avant le viaduc sur la rue Ontario à Montréal. Nous ne sommes pas très loin du Mur Légal de Rouen. Le quartier est rempli de murales, les traits en rouge sont les murales que je connais (sûrement déjà écrit un post dessus) mais il y a probablement des trésors cachées dans les ruelles 😀.

Grils

In the first photo, you can't see this part on the first pic, which is at the very beginning of the wall, a little way back. It's a squirrel by Grils aka Alex Grilanc, a Montreal-based artist who has participated in the Canettes de Ruelle festival for several years now. To see more of his work, check out Street Art Contest #005, the contest hosted by @digi-me was just over a month old, and now we're into the CCC's Street Art Contest #191 edition. Impressive... Don't forget to participate...

Sur la première photo, on ne voit pas cette partie sur la première photo qui tout au début du mur, un peu en retrait. Il s'agit d'une écureuil réalisé par Grils aka Alex Grilanc, artiste basé à Montréal depuis quelques années déjà avec de multiples participations au festival Canettes de Ruelle. Pour voir plus d'œuvres de sa main, vous pouvez aller voir Street Art Contest #005, le concours organisé par @digi-me avait juste un peu plus d'un mois, maintenant nous en sommes à l'édition CCC's Street Art Contest #191. Fleo & Fokus

After the pigeon, also by Grils, these are two letterings with Fleo, a member of the K6A collective, at the top, and Fokus or Ofusk underneath.

Après le pigeon aussi réalisé par Grils, il s'agit deux lettrages avec en haut Fleo, artiste membre du collectif K6A et en dessous Fokus ou Ofusk dans certains cas, comme ici.

Omar Bernal & Monk.E

The last part is the work of Omar Bernal, a Mexican artist based in Montreal, with this weird bird. Then, on the right, you can see the beginning of the lettering done by Monk.E, also a member of K6A. I didn't manage to get a full picture of his work, as at this point, on the other side of the street, you're going down under the viaduct. Too bad... sometimes a drone would be pretty cool 😀.

La dernière partie est l'œuvre de Omar Bernal, artiste mexicain basé à Montréal avec ce drôle d'oiseau. Puis sur la photo, à droite, on aperçoit le début du lettrage de Monk.E, lui aussi membre du K6A. Je ne suis pas arrivé à prendre la photo en entier de son travail car à ce moment là de l'autre côté de la rue, on descend sous le viaduc. Dommage... parfois un drone serait bien utile 😀.
