Cat-apulted by parping

in Art.2 months ago

After my last post about Hypersensitivosaurus, Mrs. Mosquito and a Wild Cat, a couple of you were wondering what would happen with what they thought was a drawing of Betty, that I had started that afternoon.

I am referring to this sketch:

It was actually Beniamino and the photo above this post shows you the result/answers that question.

Let's say that I got into a funny creative mood, about an hour ago, in the room where @clareartista is (re)making one piece of clothing after another as if possessed by magic ) aka her New Sewing atelier.

Since a week and a half, this room has our wood burner/-oven in it and that has made it even more enjoyable to hang out here, especially in the colder hours.

Anyhow, it all started out with me picking up a pink crayon and adding a lower body to the cat, including 3 funny little legs.

FYI: He has 4 legs/paws in real life.

I then pictured him floating in the sky, as the word catapulted came to me ( not for the first time ).

Thus, I decided to add some sky scenery around it and some birds.

For some extra enjoyment, I decided to make it look like Beniamino catapults/propels himself by parping.

In case you wonder what parping means, it's Scottish for farting or blowing gas out of your butt.

I learnt it from Clare.

Another one of my favorite words that I learnt from her is jobby or jobbie ( I just looked up the spelling ). This can be translated to number 2 also known as poo(p).

Here's an example sentence:

I just did a big jobby on the toilet and I am feeling relieved.

Anyhow, this cute big cat with funny legs is not doing a jobby nor a jobbie, he is merely parping and seems to enjoy floating through a blue sky with a number of fluffy clouds.

The little black bird seems to be heading for disaster though
or should I say dis-asster? This won't end well.

I hope you enjoyed this silly little post of mine as much as I did drawing and writing this.

The world can surely use more humor, these days and I don't mind stepping in to fill that gap.

I'm pretty sure that's how cats and dogs put on that extra little burst of speed when they need it XD

Haha! You might be right about that.
