In the 2nd batch of Matatag Training, I felt exhausted since day zero. When were on the 3rd day of our training. I realized we need to have some space to relax and distress ourselves or unwind. As a class manager, I monitored everything. From the materials, the outputs, the attendance, the MOL, and everything. I slept almost midnight just to prepare everything and accomplish all forms needed by the QUAME or Quality Assurance Monitoring and Evaluation Team. So on the 4th day, we the TLE and EPP group decided to go outside to distress ourselves and bond with each other. So, we went to the nearby establishment of Elegant Circle Inn and had a coffee break at Born and Brewed.
At first, I thought, it was my facilitator who would pay us since but when we were in the coffee shop we paid it separately. I worried since I had only for fare going home left and the coffee cost 175.00 pesos. I managed my budget. After all, we contributed an amount for the gift of our participants because we applied token economy to them and we also shared tips with our server. We had different orders. O ordered a coffee mocha while they ordered another flavor of coffee. When our orders arrived we kept on talking and laughing at each other as if we were free that time. We just ordered coffee despite they had some snacks displayed since we were already full during our dinner.
After having our coffee break at Born and Brewed we went back to our Hotel since it's almost 10:00 pm in the evening.I thought we back right away but when we passed by Chowking my co PMT in EPP/TLE suggested to dine at Chowking. They liked to eat Chaopan. OMG, I said, what? oh noh I'm full. I will not eat unless it's free. Hahaha. So,they ordered.i just waited on the table until the orders served. They included me in their order. I'm really full,so I find hard in consulting everything. When we're done we went back to Hotel we then drop by at Mercury Drug to buy another snacks item.I felt tired with my feet of walking but they joy and camaraderie we had is priceless. Thankful for the time we've spent to distress ourselves and to become alive alert and enthusiastic again in order to perform our duty successfully.
Thankful also to Father God for giving us strength and wisdom in this Journey.
