Yes! You hear it right! It's all about Foodie!!
I want to share with all of you here in Hive how I use my skills of cooking to pay my bills!! Well, I am not a professional chef and not even a culinary expert. But what I know is I love food and I love to make food... And yes I love to share it with anyone...
I have huge fun doing this business anyway. Okay! But before I start to share some of my food that I make, I need to tell you first that really in Hong Kong all OFW or Overseas Filipino Workers who only own a visa for a specific employer are not allowed to do extra jobs outside. But anyway, I have no fear because my dream is always big to do something to earn some extra money. So far nothing bad happened to me. And maybe without my extra jobs I would get big debts in a bank. In Hong Kong so many banks offer credits. But yes, I am smart enough to do tasks with my own hassle instead to run to a bank to borrow money.
So here we go! This is my Biko! Aka (BIKO NI GEN!)
This was really my first attempt and try to sell here in Hong Kong like I do it now as vendor.
At first I was a little bit shy because I didn't know what people would tell me after they ate my food. I know my homemade food is yummy, but sometimes we can't avoid people who want to make bad comments.
And Second, I was a little bit scared because of the police around. But I did it anyway!
I started making this on July 22, 2024... The reason why I forced myself to do this was because after I had a vacation in the Philippines in May 2024 for a whole month and came back Hong Kong in June 2024, I was empty, out of money, and besides I really didn't have enough money since October 2022. I had debts that needed to be paid. So I was not really financially free, but in Hong Kong I didn't attempt or try a bank because they need co-borrowers and I don't like to hassle any people as I don't want to be hassled by others in terms of money matters myself. I have only asked for a credit in th Philippines if necessary.
So this is a story of my Biko! And I am glad that until now my Biko is ongoing and its one of my main varieties that people love, especially if they are coffee lovers. Biko is so good together with coffee and I am proud that my Biko is really so yummy...

Pansit Bihon!
Oh yeah! I know I posted already about my Pansit Bihon! As I said, everyday is birthday here in Hong Kong!
In the Philippines Pansit Bihon or pansit alone is always served at birthday occasions. Yes! People love my Pansit Bihon here in Hong Kong! Some Chinese people also buy my Pansit Bihon. I love making money! Yes! You heard it right! But also I love to see people enjoying what I offer to them. One thing why they love it is because they have to pay only 10 HKD per box to be already satisfied.

Maja Blanca
Wow! Yes, Maja Blanca... What they love is if it's not that sweet and also has a good texture. Anyway, I am just learning to make this Maja Blanca. I am not used to do it because I always thought it looks to be difficult, but I tried it out now because I have one customer who asked me to make Maja Blanca. And it's not bad. I did it well...

Cassava Cake!
Oh Yeah! Cassava Cake is really my favorite dessert!
Actually, at the beginning no one asked me to do this, but now many customers like it!
The only hard thing... is to grate the Cassava... Hehe...
In the Philippines I had a big can combined with a huge grate. You can see it below. But here in Hong Kong I just bought a small grate... hehehe...
But I love it and I am proud to share my Cassava Cake because everyone loves it!!!

I used this kind of grate in the Philippines but here only have a small one.

Food before delivering!

And I have more to share in future... More foodie!
