My favorite teacher is Dr. Jeni, but we call her Nanay. She was our Creative Writing teacher in college. She's amazing and skilled. She would bring us to nature to get inspiration for our writing. She is frank too. She'd praise us when we wrote something promising, and she'd tell us when we wrote trash. Once, I submitted a draft. She took a pen out from her pocket and marked a big X on my paper.
"This is trash", she said.
It didn't hurt me tho. I knew she was right.
After graduation, she talked to me. She told me I could have gotten a higher grade if I submitted my haikus instead. I jokingly answered her that I could have gotten a higher grade if she accepted those haikus (you see, I submitted them late, so I don't blame her).
My CW grade didn't matter to me tho. She's the reason I think I can write. She pushed me and inspired me beyond the extrinsic power of any grade, and for that I am truly grateful.
On my graduation, she gave me something very personal and precious to her: a list of books she read that changed the course of her life. I often see it as pamana or heirloom, except she's not dead.LOL. I pray that wherever she is now she may have a healthy long life. She's not teaching anymore. She's currently working on a research, but I'd love to see her teach again and I'd die to be in her class.

Anyways, my kwentong favorite teacher, it was high school days, we have this one cool P.E teacher who's very good in teaching and at the same time, he is like an entertaining coz there's no dull moment when he is the one teaching us. He has a lot of paandar, he is very good in jokes, he even copy Mr. Bean and he is very good at it. What I like to Sir Sapul was the way he teach ba. He is also good in boosting our mood as if he can read all our mind whenever we are pagoda na or something. Basta he is so cool. Because of that, ang dami talagang nagmamahal sa kanya. He is still teaching yes, ang doing good in it. And I can tell that he us still a favorite of some kids that he is teaching, I hope marami pang mapasaya talaga si Sir.

Upon successfully attaining my Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Special Education in August of this year, I've come to the realization that the most influential guide throughout my academic journey has been none other than the trio of "me, myself, and I." Balancing the demands of work and studying, particularly at my age, has proven to be a formidable challenge. LOL. Tbh, even now I am still in awe at what I have accomplished which is why I am, myself my favourite teacher.😉😄

Ahh, I have so many favorites! Ako kasi yung isa sa mga students na mahilig magbitbit ng gamit ng teachers (anything to get me off of my seat, really) hahaha. Usually kung di ako nakikipaglaro, nakikitambay ako sa mga classroom ng mga teachers~
Isa sa mga tumatak sa'kin na teacher is one from my high school days. Andami niyang tinuturo - AP, English, Humanities, tapos siya rin moderator namin for the school's newsletter. Gradeschooler pa lang ako, excited na 'kong matuto sa kanya eh. Something about her vibe, I guess. Kaya niyang makipagsabayan sa mga makukulit naming kaklase pero kaya niya ring i-command yung attention mo sa kanya.
'Di ko maaccess yung youngster memories ko pero alam 'kong isa siya sa mga rason kung bakit ganito ako ngayon. Mas natuto akong gumamit ng Filipino dahil sa pakikinig sa kanya - na kung gusto mong mas maraming tao ang makaintindi sa'yo, dapat marunong kang mag-Ingles at Filipino. Siya rin yung rason kung bakit mas napalapit ako sa creative side ko at siya rin yung isa sa mga nagmulat sa'min sa mga political matters ng bayan.
Hanggang ngayon nagtuturo parin siya - and in the same school! Sign na rin ata 'tong QOTW para bumisita ako dun hahaha.

Hmmm.. kwentong favorite teacher . Okay, share ko na yung prof ko noong highschool ako. So bale catholic school yan, tas eto si ate nyo girl (ako) haliparot, umamin don sa teacher na crush niya ituuu. Si teacher, 23 yrs old that time, tas ako 11 yrs old, myyyghaddd umiwas na sya sa child abuse kaya after that year, di na sya nag turo sa catholic school na un.
PS: Don ako gumraduate din. 2nd year, ung sister niya naman nagturo saxamin. Nalamaan na crush ko kapatid niya kaya naging bridge ko yon para ipadala mga love letters ko. Napagtanto kong ako talaga ung creepy that time kaya di ko na inulit nung third year kasi si Robert Pattinson na ung mahal ko. Charot! Oh ayan ito na ang kwento @ruffatotmeee 😆😆

My favorite teacher is named Ms Espectacion. She taught stenography. But more than the subject, its the life lessons and the values that she shared, as well as the appreciation for the little things which stayed with me up until this day.
I had this second-year high school adviser whom I can't forget. She's a TLE Teacher and the most beautiful teacher I ever had. She used to bake cakes for us. In our place in Lanao del Norte, that time cake was very expensive because there were no bakers. And we can't afford to purchase. But that's not the reason why she's unforgettable.
Wayback second year of high school, our class was like "tinadhana" to meet because we all got along. During the lunch break, we used to have a concert inside the room. We had this classmate who loved to sing, so we sang along with him. Some of our classmates created rhythm using broomsticks, broom boxes, slippers, and even chairs.
I could still imagine how chaotic our classroom was every lunch break. But we don't see it as chaotic way back then because we enjoyed it so much. We got warned by our adviser many times and kept telling us to stop it because we disturbed other classes.
During one lunch break, we had another concert because one of our classmates was celebrating his birthday, because we enjoyed it so much, we didn't notice that the broom box was broken into pieces dahil as lakas ng pagtambol. When our adviser came in and saw how unorganized our room was she just sat down on her chair and didn't say anything. She just let her tears fall and nobody from us dared to say sorry, some cried with her silently.
The next morning when we came to school, our teacher's table was no longer there. She left us, she transferred her things to the faculty room. When everybody learned about it, we were all sorry and felt like lost children. No more adviser.
For one-week sinusuyo namin si ma'am. We sent her sorry notes with all of our signatures and a promise not to do it again of course with flowers.
And thank God the following week she came back. And we all behaved.

Sounds like you did had fun during high school. Yan talaga ang phase ng buhay natin na masaya I think. Core memories to keep. Glad you did all behave after though, ang galing ni mam mag contain ng feelings niya ha. Baka pag ako yan, madami na ako sinabi sabay walk out. LOL

Too hard to choose a favorite teacher but among my favorites is my Math teacher in HS. He's our adviser in the class. He's very strict but even when he is, he gets along with us well, especially the most behaved boys in class. Our HS life had so many troubles, we even had a lie detector test one day. LOL
I have so many memories of him but the most touching one was when I came back to Cebu to get my grades - that day he told me he would shop a t-shirt for me in SM because apparently I was the only one who didn't get a gift on the farewell party (because I wasn't there and was the only one who didn't attend). I couldn't decide on a single t-shirt and later on, he told me not to look at the price tags. The reason why I couldn't decide was I was so worried of the price. I shouldn't be worried about it, he said, and to just choose what I really like.
That's when I learned to shop without looking at the price tags. I said to myself I should earn more so when I shop, I don't look at the prices.
By the way, at that time, another classmate was with me who was also treated with clothes like me because her family was nasunugan. Di lang po ako ang nalibre hehe

I am not really the type of making closeness to the teacher but remembered I had favorite one
One is my English teacher in High school and also our adviser in the 3rd year. She had that cool and motherly personality that sometimes students addressed her as Mommy instead of Ma'am
She had a lot of students that she helped even financially. Like giving them baon. Nope she is not that rich , nakaka LL lng. Yet she is always trying her best .
Almost forgot to mention, she is also beautiful, morena with angelic faces and seems like she doesn't age.

Wala akong fave teacher nun highschool/college e. but in terms of acquired knowledge from a teacher per se, siguro yung VP ko sa Fort dati. From him, I was able to define what a Boss is and what a Leader is. His innovation and practice is just different from others that I worked with. So ayon.

My favorite teacher was Sir Ramgen. Tall, dark, and handsome. Sa klase hindi nagdadala ng libro o copy niya sa lesson for that day. Napakatalino at na explain niya yung subject matter ng mabuti. Kaya akoy nasa harapan pag siya na ang papasok sa klase namin. Dahil sa kagwapohan niya napatitig na lamang ako sa kanya. Pagdating ng exams hulaan niyo na lamang ilan ang nakuha ko. 🤣

My favorite teacher was Maam Maeling. She was my English teacher in high school. Yun bang, ang hirap makatanggap ng very good sa kanya, kaya pag nasabi nya yon sa amin na iilan, parang isang achievement. She is also a good disciplinarian. She was the reason too I took the same major as hers. Kalaunan, magkasama na kaming nagseserve sa church. Kung nuon, siya taga turo ng leksyon sakin, ngayon ako naman tagaturo ng church songs sa kanya.🥰

Ang paborito kong teacher ay si Sir Mata. Ang talino, neat and clean, at ang gwapo rin ngunit hindi babae gusto nya. Ganun paman, nirerespito at minamahal namin sya bilang isang guro. Ganoon rin, hindi sya nagdadala nang libro at napapaliwanag nya nang maayos ang lesson. Wala kong masabi, kundi ang galing! Ngayon, nasa ibang bansa na sya.
I have a favourite teacher but she never became my teacher. Based from her students' stories I came to admire her, and now, as a teacher, I want to be someone who inspire students and teach them life learning lessons not just academics like the way she did.😌🤍
