GET TO KNOW ME !! :))

Annyeong everyone !! I am Mhel Raven S. Paz or yall can call me Raven.

I am 18 years old and I live in Cebu City. We are 6 in my family, my mom, dad, my older sister, me, my little brother,and my little sister.

I am currently living here in the province of medellin to study, i am a grade 12 stem student here at MNSTS (Medellin National Science & Technology School) and will soon transfer to the city to study for college, and if yall ask what course i will be taking, ill be taking nursing. Nursing wasn’t really my first choice, Growing up i always wanted to be a Hotel Manager, i know it sounds lame but i really loved organizing, decorating, communicating with others, and etc. But time by time things changed, when i turned 12 ive known that some of my aunts was a flight attendant, at first i didn’t really mind, but when they told their success and achievements, i was really really flabbergasted. Like imagine they flew to different kinds of countries, that was like my dream since i was a kid, to go to different countries, but then again time by time i changed my mind, then there goes nursing, and as day passes i was sure enough to pursue nursing.

I have many habits that i do in my life, but I have three habits that i do or choose the most, which is dancing, crocheting, and posting makeup related videos on tiktok. Let me start on dancing, dancing was always my number one passion when i was still a child, from dancing to school events,stage performances, dance intermissions, and i even represented my municipality twice already on the previous provincial meet 2025 and last 2023. This is our dance group, our crew is called “billy jeanz”.

It all started on MSAA, this is like an event within our municipality. We compete through different kinds of schools, there are actually tons of sports included in this kind of event. There is basketball, volleyball, badminton, dancesports, and many more. But we joined the hiphop galaw pilipinas inspired competition

and luckily we won by competing to different kinds of schools within our municipality, so it means that we get to represent our municipality to the next level which is the latest provincial meet2025. This is us when we were there

we changed our routine because in this stage we were competing to schools that is within cebu province, and that is very scary. This is us during the competition

we were very nervous at this time because what if some of our member forgets the routine or what if we wont win. After a few hours, all performers were done presenting their dance to the judges. This is us after the competition

and then we got second place !! :)), we were supposedly the first placers but sadly we got disqualified because of what our girls was wearing, we weren’t told that wearing croptop was not allowed, and yeah atleast we got second place. It was so devastating for us because we worked so hard for that, from tiring practices, not eating what we want to eat, non stop exercises, and not just physically but also financially. But at the very end atleast we know who is the actual winner if we were just told that it was not allowed.
I also mentioned that I represented my municipality in the last provincial meet 2023, but it wasn’t hiphop, it was dancesport. There are two types of dances in dancesport, it is modern standard and latin, but i did modern standard at that time. Luckily i got second place.

i also tried latin last 2024, still on the msaa event but sadly i got second place only.

but i was still grateful because i get to experience those kinds of competition.

Now ill be proceeding to crochet, well i really didn’t have any interest in crocheting back then, but I was encouraged because two of my bff crocheted that time. I was so curious and amazed because it looked so cool while they were doing it, so i gave it a try but at first it was for real wasnt easy to learn it, i was really confident at first that i can pull it off, but i was wrong. But time by time i kept on practicing it because i was slowly having interest on it, until it was summer I started to have my own little crochet business because i was confident on accepting orders. I tried making a tote bag, flowers, keychains, and many more. I remembered that my first costumer was my circle of friends, they ordered a matching keychains including me because they thought its cute, I was so happy on that time because of the thought that they were supporting me. As day passes i kept on receiving orders, and i was so so happy, because i never thought that what i was doing back then was only for fun but not knowing that this would boom in the future.

And lastly makeup contents, when i was a kid i was so affraid to touch makeup, because growing up i was surrounded by homophobic people that time. I remembered that when we were in the mall with my family, I was like nine years old and my sister is 11 years old. My older sister wanted to by a makeup for herself, deep inside i also wanted one, so i told her that to get me one also and just tell my parents that it was for hers, we were like spies that time haha. Its just so amazing because what i keep on hiding back then is I can show who I am now, my parents already know that i use makeup, and Im very happy because they didn’t have a problem with it, Im so happy because they accept who i am. And now i started making makeup related contents in tiktok, and hoping that some day i could make millions of views, likes, and followers. Aside from my habits, i also love kpop. One of my top kpop groups that i stan is enhypen. Enhypen is my kind of therapy, because if i watch them when im down, they give me joy especially my bias sunoo hehe. Staring into their faces is just mesmerizing.

I got to know them because of my bff since childhood, her name is apple, shes also the one who encouraged me to join here in hive. Shes always their for me during my up and downs, and always ready to hear what i want to say to her when im sad. So if u see this bestie i love u 4 evah !! :3
