They say that it's better to give than to receive. Sharing what you have to others, no matter how big or small, demonstrates how much you care for them. All of the SSLG District 1 Officers in San Remigio gathered together and came up with this wonderful activity. Together, we united as one to spread our love and generosity to other people by giving bundles of items.
As an active member of the SSLG Organization, I encouraged my fellow classmates and students to participate in this activity. I told them that if they have anything they can give to the people in Tagasa, whom we are helping, it would be greatly appreciated. We chose that place because we noticed there are many children and families in need of assistance.
In preparation for our donations, we combined all the various items collected from our fellow students and classmates, classifying them according to gender and age groups. We divided our time to ensure fair and equal distribution. After that, we packed everything up and put it inside a large carton.
When it was done, we carried our donations to the agreed-upon meeting place. Upon arrival, we combined our donations with those of others and helped pack some biscuits and candies for the children.
When all the SSLG Officers had arrived, we prepared all the donations to go to Tagasa. We were excited and happy because this was one of our most unforgettable experiences, knowing that we had something to contribute to the community.
Upon arrival, we were surprised to see so many children and even mothers waiting for us. You could see clearly from their faces that they were happy we had arrived. They patiently waited for us there, hoping that we would come. Thankfully, we arrived there safe and sound with the presence and protection of God.
As we started distributing the items, kids jumped with joy and some even ran towards us. After receiving their gifts, they thanked us with smiles on their faces.
We went to each house in Tagasa to give gifts. They were surprised and happy to receive their gifts. We walked for a distance in the middle of the heat, carrying our donations. We went through narrow pathways to reach their place.
As we gave their gifts, our tiredness is replaced with happiness. Our hearts were full of gratitude for the people. Their smiles and excitement upon receiving their gifts were priceless. Watching them open their gifts and appreciate them made our hearts melt. They shared what they had and enjoyed what they received.
I realized that it feels good to have something to contribute to your community. Living in a community surrounded by good and heartwarming people makes these efforts more meaningful and fulfilling. Through acts of kindness and generosity, we can create a harmonious and glorious community.

Kudos to your team dear. You mentioned San Remegio, is this in Daan Bantayan or Bantayan island? My roots are from Bantayan, Lawis in particular.
