The Moon's Effect...

There is no end to the imagination of people of the world about the moon. There is no limit to the imagination of a loving couple, poets, and writers about the moon and its moonlight. How many metaphors there are in poetry and movies ever used have no count. At one time people have written many myths about the moon. Then people did not go to the moon. All the stories are composed in their whims and fancies. The moon can overwhelm someone by emotion. One can find happiness or reason to cry at the same time by looking at it.

Have you seen the moon today? Yeah, I have observed it from the middle of the central field of Jahangirnagar University. Then I realized why everyone becomes fascinated by the moon. It felt like I was standing so close to heaven. I became speechless when I was looking at it for a while. It was mostly light red or a dark orangey-red. I was feeling like someone had hypnotized me.

Generally, when a full moon appears, it looks so big. Today’s once was the same. But the silence of my surroundings influenced the atmosphere of the field. I could hardly hear anything else. The serenity grasps me for a while. It felt like a superhero came down to the field and took me to the moon to feel the tranquillity of the moon. He was whispering into ears that “You will feel the loneliness of the mighty moon when you touch it.” So I closed my eyes and tried to do as the superhero said. I don’t how much time I was closed but I felt I was there for a couple of hours. For once, after so many days, I had the peace that I was looking for. After some time, I realized that I forgot to thank the superhero for helping me to find peace for my inner self. But, when I opened my eyes, I couldn’t find him anywhere.

Was it a superhero or an imaginary spirit, I don’t know. But I know, it was not the first time I have felt him. I would like to see him in human form someday. Once I talked to a senior brother about my imaginary superhero who had helped me so many times. I told him that I do not believe in superstition but, I feel comfortable when I can feel his invisible existence around me. After hearing me, that senior told me that the superhero you are talking about is not any but you. This was the best motivation I have ever got in my life.

I grew up watching Spiderman. The main mantra was this favorite superhero of mine, “With great power comes great responsibility.” If only the people in power could understand this simple thing, our lives would be much easier.

Gave you a big position, gave you power. Will you just sit there with that power or knowledge? Does money exchange just work? Will you be happy with your work? Wouldn't you use your power, position, knowledge, and influence a little bit? Not in the syllabus or not seeing your boss tell you to do a little extra work for people? You have to think for yourself, but over time you have to practice thinking about everyone. If you help someone, you will not lose anything but the butterfly effect will come back to you.

Now you can say you want to but don't have the time. Taking time out is also a great skill. And not having time is a big excuse. Yeah all that sounds pretty crap to me, looks like it isn’t for me either. Some people have been a superhero type since childhood. They come forward to help everyone. But not everyone gets the privilege of holding that power or knowledge, right? Although everyone studies science, not everyone is a doctor. Even if everyone gives BCS, they do not become cadres. Although there is a desire and ability to study abroad, not everyone can leave if they want. So shouldn't those of us who have a little extra power or privilege stand by people? This crisis is the best time to be your superhero.

Sadly, most talented people are selfish. They do not want to say a word without profit. Yet some superheroes try their best to help people all the time.

At one time maybe I could write a little better. Now that thought no longer comes from the mind. Unemployed poets have no price for rice. I would also like to say that if everyone does a little from everyone's place, the world will be more beautiful. A question always pops into my head, if someone can help, why not?
