It’s almost here! Thanksgiving is the day after tomorrow, and it appears that all is in high gear!⚙️
I needed to run an EDDM mailing to the post office 🏤 in Deming, Washington. I wasn’t sure exactly where it was, but Google as usual, helped out. @silvertop was my navigator. We found the post office 🏤 and it was located right next door to the admin building for the Nooksack Indian Tribe. This is the tribal office I’ve been working with at work. Check out @silvertop’s post for some nice pics of the area. I was driving so no pics for me.
Then, we needed to run by our post office 🏤 to pick up ‘yellow card’ packages. Two for the clinic and one for me!😎 Then run by the library 📚 to drop of a book I’d finished. Back home for a minute, and then we decided to head to the Dollar (and a quarter) store. After that we popped over to Safeway, a grocer we don’t traditionally shop. I needed rolls for Thanksgiving and a couple other things. Other than a very few items like the first picture, a turkey cake, it looks as though we’ve skipped right over Thanksgiving and jumped straight into Christmas! I even found the North Pole!
The Grinch is a bit pricey!
There was way too much humanity in that grocery store! 🏬 very crowded; we got what we needed and headed back into the misty mist (it’s been raining ☔️ all day, sometimes heavy!) and headed for home. 🏡 I was much in need of a mocha ☕️

Cot on the other hand, loves the waterbed!
That’s gonna be it for now. Back to work tomorrow, but then I have 6 days off! I miscounted last night, lol! This is even better! Almost like a vacation!

Cot* loves* the waterbed, lol! I've been trying to figure out on the turkey cake, just how much of what you're looking at is icing? Especially the legs and the wings and stuffing area. There's another cake I featured in tonight's post. I'd love to taste both, actually!
