Scientific review, benefits of consuming garlic




Garlic can help protect us against illnesses, including the common cold. And at this point it is proven that garlic supplements stimulate our immune system.


In this regard, a 12-week study found that a daily garlic supplement reduced the number of colds by 73% compared to the placebo group. Another thing that I found very interesting about this study is that not only was this decrease seen in the number of people who contracted a cold, but also that among the people who also got a cold, their symptoms improved by up to 70%, lowering them to a average of one and a half days versus five days for the group of people who ingested the placebo.


Garlic can also help us reduce blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks or strokes, also known as strokes, which are responsible for more deaths than almost any other condition.


High blood pressure, hypertension is one of the most important factors that can lead to these diseases, human studies have found that garlic supplements have a significant impact on reducing blood pressure in people suffering from high blood pressure.
