RE: Throw it

That is pretty awesome. I really like the style of this one. I used to have a M67 grenade, but I gave it to my nephew who is really into military stuff. It was missing the clip and pin, but everything else was there for the most part. It had a hole drilled in the bottom too. I actually found it laying on the ground outside one of the schools I worked at a long time ago. I talked to the other administrators to ask if they thought we should try and find out whose it was. They were like nope, you can have it, just get that thing out of here. Even though it was a dud, they still didn't like the optics of a grenade being on school grounds. So some veteran is probably missing his souvenir he brought home from the war...

Yeah, it's pretty cool. I've got a few things about the house that have some cool factor and this is one of my favourites.

A hand grenade (dud) at school. I wonder if a kid had brought it for show and tell and lost it. A good find for you although I feel for whomever lost it, especially if it was someone who served as things like this often come with a lot of meaning.

yeah, I totally agree with you there. This was back before social media too, so I couldn't really even post anything on there. I concur that it was probably something someone brought in for show and tell.
