There is something alluring about the rust. I have always liked the slightly abandoned look on some pieces and in actuality, love old rusty pieces, or how they photograph.

Your pieces on the dock are wonderful and show their use and how full of life, with the rust. :) I remember I first really became enamored with it on TSU (the real one) and their rust community.
