An ultimate goal for every photographer. I am not sure if it's possible to use my 50 mm lens, not a wide lens.
Wider angle lenses work best and can capture more of the Milky Way. But I've seen some pretty cool shots taken with telephoto lenses. I'm sure you could get something interesting with a 50 mm...
That's awesome. My 18-55 mm lens doesn't have the f2.8 aperture but my 50mm lens has the f1.8 aperture.
You should be able to get some great ones with that 1.8!
