Legends Hiding in The Fog

Mountains are different. Sometimes it's just a pile of rocks, without bright vegetation on steep slopes, and breathtaking peaks. Sometimes it looks ominous and repulsive, especially when the weather adds the final touches to the gloomy picture, shrouding these dangerous places in fog.

Beautiful. THe sun sounds like a right c**nt, scuse the french. Dawn sounds like a more gentle match for the moon.

Fog is so atmospheric - I've never been afraid of it. It's soooo beautiful. Takes the sharp edge off the world, softens all the brutality, quietens and mutes everything in a really beautiful way.

What a beautiful legend @thenortherner 😊
It was new to me. I enjoyed reading it and I will be looking at the moon and dawn now differently.
I always enjoyed the moon and looking at it.
The fog and the gloomy weather it has around it, can be very beautiful. If there are objects around. Like buildings, bridges, forests etc. I can imagine that it is completely different in a place like you show us today.
As it is beyond moody… 😎
Good you had your lights of the car to guide you back.

Thank you for sharing the story and the photographs of the fog 😊

I like for on the mountains and wild places and I like that tale!

Ah but this is gritty and dark and steeped in foreboding. Mine would probably be about subbing my toe on a rock 😜

Great read, thanks for sharing!

What a great legend, Northman. Seems like a magical, mystical area. Fog is believed to be a sister to the clouds in some traditions. Glad you weren’t swallowed up by fog monsters and escaped with a good outlook. 🌫 😊 Looking closely at the rock face in the first photo there were faces probably formed by the weathering but, who knows, maybe rock nature spirits making themselves known.

You have great insight, dear Northman. 😊
