Nowadays I'm getting more and more obsessed with listening music since I got my new earbuds from last year discount sale, it is refreshing to hair music for hours while you're doing work or walking on the sideways

and even when you're at gym doing workout, that's my favourite part because music gives that boost to hit one last rep to failure in a different way.

Yeah I know the mind and muscle connection is important but to me listening music is also important because it helps me focus. I don't know why but that's how things are now.

So this year I'll have some musical goals for myself, to get out of this music addiction and help brain focus without hearing the lyrics and tunes.

My last Year Spotify Wrapped

Last year I was more like devoted to listening songs while I was writing, going out to get something, while doing work or even the time when I wanted to avoid noise or people discussions

So I played about 368 songs in 2024 and some of those were so random because I'm not premium Spotify user and they just shuffle play from the albums

Good thing is it was the first time when Spotify wrapped showed the artist I actually listened a lot.

My top Artists and songs from 2024

Lana del Rey was my most favourite player artist last year and still haven't got a chick yet so all those "boys who listen Lana del Rey get laid" ain't true at all

And when it comes to most played song of 2024: it's those eyes by new west

More like a proof that I still haven't forgot her and no way I'm moving on if I kept on listening new west this year cause dude is just writing these songs for her

Cigarette after what? Yea, I heard almost every song from that album

But what I'm surprised more is there's no "tame impala and Kendrick Lamar" in the list

As far I remember I listened "borderline, the less I know the better, money tree's" on repeat throughout the year

7,725 minutes is just 5 days

So I thought I've spent almost a half of year listening to music on Spotify but it's just 5.3 days entirely spent on music

I still spent 365 days on other productive things and useless as well

I'm not sure how true these numbers are by Spotify, cause they don't want users to scare away from spending time on music.. it could be that reason why it's less

My Music Goals for 2025

I want to reduce this addiction of being wired into my headphones all the time and listening to music

So the goal will be to make consume music less there. Especially avoid it when I'm doing work, gym so I can make that mind and muscle connection. It's the ultimate way of training my mind to focus

Also going into 2025 new year with same old playlist because I don't get bored easily until I hear same song for 1000 times and remember every single word lol.

Going to stop listening music that reminds me of her cause it's time I move on and don't think of her while benchpress.

Last year I shared plenty of music on threads, so will do it more often this year cause yea why not make that database on hive.

Wrapping Up...

That's all folks, I guess we all have spend time listening to plenty of songs and artist while some of you've spent on creating tunes, lyrics and it takes lots of effort to create something like a simple song

So much respect to those artist who created songs and album in 2024 and wish you'll make more interesting one's this year, I'd love to listen all cause it's the way I can show support and there's a lot of underrated artists who's not heard by millions yet.

Share your thoughts about my last year wrap and this year goal. Would love to know what you think about it in the comments.
