RE: Where The Lines Are Blurred

I think having fun and creating content you enjoy is key, as forcing yourself to create content you're not passionate about is tiring, and will lead to burn out, also I think readers can tell when someone isn't into something.

You're right about the fequency, if someone can, they should post as much and as often as they want. Although, I think 1 post a day, and then take all other spare time and use it to curate, or perhaps post on Leo Threads. I think exploring new communties, and finding new creators is fun. Especially when you find a gem of an article that is really engaging.

Also, curating seems to be the best way to meet new people, compared to creating content.

One thing I've been thinking about recently, and I haven't written a post on it, because I hate talking about money, (I know, the money we earn here is a bonus, and not a garentee.) But, I think there should be a curation trail that focuses on middle of the road accounts, who aren't big and aren't small. A way of looking after and rewarding accounts who are keeping their stake powered up, and who are trying to grow. Obviously, solely if they are creating good content.

I know that so well because I used to work as copywriter but writing about the things that I am not super passionate about. Anyhow, at the time, I wasn't in the position to be picky about what I can choose or clients I work with. It was hell and sometimes I don't even enjoy writing it.

The thing is that we have to get used to short content as you see, in other social media, short content gets likes, engagement. If someone says anything stupid, it can be elaborated more later but what gets engagement are sometimes those sort but outrageous claims or opinion. Yet data on Hive just says that longer content still makes more as you see in this data.

The posts under 500 words on average earn 1.35$ and the posts with 2500+ words earn on average 17$.

Honestly, I heard similar thing and tried something as well but won't go into detail here. I mean, it's a good initiative because there are user who have their stake powered up but sometimes can be an underrewarded authors but they're engaging and their content is great. They're not necessarily getting lower amount but still would deserve more as they powered up, and contributed at some point to the community as whole. I am also on lovesniper which focuses on newbie and all that but I think like you, a balance should be there.
