Hello everyone in the Hive Pets community! Today I bring you a post dedicated to two great canine companions who made my stay abroad much more loving and welcoming. I present to you Tank and Zoe, two little dogs that belong to my sister and who are really great. Here I will tell you a little about them, their personalities, how little by little I gained their trust and what it is like to have them on a daily basis. Let's get started.
Tank and Zoe are two Pit Bulls, approximately 8 years old. And I say that it is approximate since each one has a story to tell. Tank was a gift that my brother-in-law gave to his daughter, Madyson, when she was still very young. From that moment on, little Tank became the darling of the house, being the favorite of all the members and as it seems, he continues to be that way even though he is already a gentleman. For her part, Zoe was rescued from an animal shelter, where they had found her alone and she was one year old. A puppy. It was Taylor, my brother-in-law's other daughter, who sought to adopt her and take her home. That is why Tank and Zoe are practically contemporaries and share each other like two brothers because although they do not come from the same place, they simply love each other.

El día de hoy les traigo una publicación dedicada a dos grandes compañeros caninos que hicieron mi estadía en el exterior, mucho más amorosa y acogedora, les presento así a Tank y a Zoe, dos perritos que pertenecen a mí hermana y que son realmente geniales. Aquí les contaré un poquito sobre ellos, sus personalidades, cómo poco a poco gane la confianza de ellos y cómo es tenerlos en el dia a día. Comencemos.
Tank y Zoe son dos Pit Bulls de aproximadamente unos 8 años. Y digo que es aproximado ya que cada uno tiene una historia por contar. Tank fue un regalo que mí cuñado le dió a su hija, Madyson, cuando ella era aún muy joven. Desde ese momento el pequeño Tank paso a ser el consentido de la casa, siendo el favorito por todos los miembros y tal cómo parece, así sigue siendo aunque sea ya todo un señor. Por su parte, Zoe fue rescatada de un refugio de animales, dónde la habían encontrado solita y tenía un año de vida. Una cachorra. Fue Taylor, la otra hija de mí cuñado, quién buscó adoptarla y llevarla a casa. Es por ello que Tank y Zoe son prácticamente contemporáneos y se compartan cómo dos hermanos pues aunque no vienen del mismo lugar, ellos simplemente se aman.
Tank and Zoe are loved equally even though one tends to be a little more demanding and the other is more laid back. Tank usually throws tantrums, making a disappointed or crazy face when he is not given a prize, he plays games or goes out for a walk as he wants. However, it is very adorable to see those manias of his. On the other hand, Zoe is much more relaxed, let's say she "doesn't give herself a bad life." She is usually less demanding than Tank, a little wilder and takes everything with a little more fun. The two of them make the house feel really cozy because it is impossible not to be moved when they greet everyone as soon as they arrive home, how (once they have gained their trust) they follow you everywhere and stand aside and a lot of canine actions that say a lot.
How do you gain their trust? As soon as I met them, I wanted to hug and kiss them a lot, but I knew that they weren't going to feel comfortable with a stranger invading their space. It had to be little by little and sooner than I thought, Tank and Zoe began to accept my presence. They were never aggressive, rather quite calm, but it was in a matter of a few hours that they were able to notice that it did not present any danger to them and their family. With croquettes, serving their food, walking with them, they felt familiar. It was good to have them while I traveled outside my country, since I missed my pets very much. Tank y Zoe son amados por igual a pesar de que uno suele ser un poco más exigente y la otra es más relajada. Tank suele hacer berrinches, poniendo una carita de decepción o locura cuando no se le da algún premio, se juega o se sale a pasear cómo el quiere. Sin embargo, es muy adorable ver esas manias de él. Por otro lado, Zoe es mucho más relajada, digamos que "no se da mala vida". Ella suele ser menos exigente que Tank, un poco más salvaje y toma todo con un poco más de diversión. Los dos hacen que la casa se sienta realmente acogedora pues es imposible no conmoverse cuando ellos saludan a todos en cuanto llegan a casa, cómo (una vez ganada su confianza) ellos te siguen a todos lados y se echan a un lado y un montón de acciones caninas que dicen mucho.
¿cómo gane la confianza de ellos? en cuanto los conocí deseaba abrazarlos y besarlos mucho, pero sabía que ellos no se iban a sentir cómodos con una extraña invadiendo su espacio. Debía ser poco a poco y más pronto de lo que pensaba, Tank y Zoe comenzaron a aceptar mi presencia. Ellos nunca fueron agresivos, más bien bastante tranquilos, pero fue en cuestión de unas horas que pudieron notar que no presentaba peligro alguno para ellos y su familia. Con croquetas, sirviendo su comida, paseando con ellos, se sintieron familiarizados. Fue bueno tenerlos a ellos mientras viajaba fuera de mí país, pues extrañaba muchísimo a mis mascotas.
