Keep your body moving

Focusing on physical fitness is very important, it should become everyone's priority in life. A healthy body gives a healthy life. Last month I was down with viral and my body was feeling so weak, I was feeling totally out of energy and totally drained out. The feeling was pathetic. I was not even able to do my fitness regimes for a few days because I was feeling very weak. The whole feeling was getting me irritated, but I was resting up as much as possible to recover completely. I do not get sick very often, this was after more than 3 years. But then just these few days of being out of action and my body feeling so weak and lethargic was making me feel so lifeless.

After recovering again when I got back to my physical fitness routines my body was taking time to get back to the routines, I started having aches and pains and was feeling like not doing it, a couple of days I even missed it, I was not feeling like doing it. I had to really push myself to start being disciplined once again. I realized how easy it is to lose the grip. It was a 3 weeks break and just in this much time also I could lose the grip of my daily practice so easily. Getting back to it was a real effort and push.

Now that again I am back to it, I feel energetic and back to life and all that lethargy is going away that was built up. The more we keep the body moving it is better, because it will remain active, not only the body but also the mind will remain active. Over a period of time what I have learned is that one must get into different forms of fitness regimes and just not stick to one practice, like a little bit of aerobics, yoga, walking, steps, weights, all of this together gives very beneficial results to the body.

If we do not exercise regularly, body becomes weak and fragile and also prone to illness. Obesity is today one of the major sickness in the food which comes with unhealthy diet and sedentary lifestyle. An unhealthy diet is never workable but if you have had it sometimes and then you have a good exercise regime, it will help to burn out those extra calories. But, if you indulge in junk food and no exercise also then it's harmful for the body and mind both.

Of all the forms of fitness, Aerial Yoga is something I enjoy the most. Some pictures from my practice of Aerial Yoga.

This is perfect article as I really need to be inspired to move and start exercising again.
I just need to find a perfect time and manage my time as well.
Thanks for being an inspiration

That time will never be perfect, you will have to just start and make it a perfect time

thank you for that reminder.

I think the body needs movement to function properly and I love the after effect of any form of exercise where the body feels more alive than before the exercise. Losing the grip is something that I always worry about when I get off track due to life's circumstances, it becomes way harder to get back on track and sometimes, my mind just wants to give up :)

My training regime is mostly running and walking, occasionally, lifting weights.

That's a good mix.
Exactly that happens with me, if I miss it a few days then it's difficult to get back and it takes me long time to get back on track

The body needs to be exercised regularly as you have said so it won’t be stiff
Also, I wonder how you’re able to do all of those
You’ve got a very soft body

If you are in action then there will be no problem, you will be able to do it easily

I have really given up on exercising for a long time and which I am strongly working to get back on it

This is a good write up. I started exercising, but i stopped at some point Kus I got too busy. I will definitely go back to it.

I hope you can start your practice soon

I hope so too. I will definitely anyways.

Being a doctor, I advise all people to pay more attention to physical fitness and especially housewives because men also go to gym and those who do not do office work, they do heavy work, so they should do exercise. There is no need to do it, but women who are housewives should definitely workout for half an hour because doing household work is one thing and working out is a different thing. Women like you are an inspiration for all women.
