I agree, they aren't malignant, but its a lot of crap out there, someone was literally whining that their friends overpriced actifit spam garbage was not making top buck, and was only pulling in 5-6 bucks when hive was over a dollar, because downvotes. The problem is that everyone who was insulted by the mediocrity left long ago. The ones remaining either ignore the garbage or tolerate it as best they can. Most everyone else wants easy farming of things which are freely abundant everywhere else and which do zero to tickle an intellect or illuminate the human condition. Noise shouldn't be promoted, or rewarded. Pat on the head symbolic crap exist freely everywhere else. A purge a year would do this place good, but until such a time of Whales choking the garbage production nothing will change.

This used to run at .4hbd, so we are doing better than in the past.
It won't be easy for our oligarchs to relinquish power, it never is for those that have their egos fed by privilege.
Outside perspectives are hard to come by when we are mostly self centered.
