I have gathered six dapps that I use pretty often, each has its own utility and I am thankful to have it in my tool list. I use these tools to find active posts that have potential, and also use these tools to pick up on trends happening on the blockchain. Others let me view a block explorer like interface to see what is going on with my Hive account and others. One is used for its automation. There are also tools here I use as a witness that I find useful.

The first dapp I want to mention, I worked with @sagarkothari88 to make it happen. If you remember the dapp called "understeemed" it is basically that but for Hive. It is a post aggregator, lets you filter posts by many options. Such as word count, image count, vote value range, date range and tags.
Next is HiveStats, a LEO project. I use it for calculating my earnings. I can view author, curation and witness payouts by day, week or month. You can also see HE tokens as well with this app.
This is a tool for setting up auto votes. I am planning on moving away from this tool, but it has been very useful for many years to me. You can also join upvote and downvote trails using this tool.

A tool made by @ura-soul it tracks downvotes, you can see the top downvoted and who are the top downvoters. This is also a history section in there to see a more detailed view of these downvotes.
This dapp is basically a block explorer but for Hive, this website lets you see all the specific transactions occurring on the blockchain. Sometimes it shows offline, but if you refresh the page enough it usually comes back.
And lastly Hivehub allows you to see details in the blockchain that may be hard to find otherwise. Such as charts showing witness votes. I find this quite useful for that. It is also the hub for swapping HBD to Hive and vise versa.
In a future post I will share some more dapps I know about from other Hive users, they have shared some great tools with me and I have a bunch more to go over soon.

We have a great range of dapps out there. A couple of those are new to me. For ages I used one called Hive-Now by @penguinpablo that gave a nice summary of incoming votes and rewards, but it is no longer working. I can understand if people can't keep running one as there will be costs and possibly no income.
I always use it to view the VP. The only thing that didn't work out for me were the post-cured ones.

Indeed there are many great dapps here. Oh damn well seems many dapps have gone inactive over the years. Maybe one day it will come back.
I think some people put the code out there so others can host the dapps too. I write some scripts, but I'm no good at web stuff.
Yeah there is two sides of that. Making the code and then keeping it hosted with enough resources.

That first one that you had a hand in creating is very interesting to me. I didn't know it existed. I'm looking forward to diving into it now. Are you going to stop auto voting all together or are you looking to move to a different service? I've often thought about writing my own script for the small amount of auto voting I do, but I haven't had the ambition.
Yeah we were missing a post aggregator in the Hive ecosystem so I am glad he could help me make that happen.
I do plan on trying to stop for a week or two and see if I can keep up. Just want to make sure I try when I have enough time to attend to interacting.
That makes sense. I wish there were a few more options for auto voting out there. I always wonder what would happen if hive.vote ever went under. I think a lot of people would suddenly be left in the lurch.

Hive Stats is my favorite tool for analyzing my rewards. Seven and Thirty day charts are particularly useful!

Indeed having that info provided by them is really helpful. Yeah that is a newer tool, but it has been really useful.
I like to see who is being downvoted and then look into why they are being downvoted. Just helps me understand what is going on with the reward pool.
