So, 1st November 1, 2025. you know what that means Hive Power Up Day (HPUD)! And yes, I actually did it. I powered up 4,724.76 HIVE. Apparently so!
Why, you ask? Well, I think it really comes down to, I don't know, maybe I'm just a sucker for tradition? Maybe I like the idea of injecting a little juice into the Hive ecosystem. Or maybe, just maybe, I'm secretly hoping this will all pay off in the long run. Shrugs.
Is it the most rational financial decision I've ever made? Eh Maybe not. The whole "locking up" thing ain't always the most fun, you know? But hey, conviction is the name of the game or, something like that.
What exactly am I hoping to accomplish? Well, a few things.
- More influence: Gotta get those votes in, am I right?
- Ecosystem support: Helps keep things runnin'. And that makes all the difference.
- Maybe a little curation reward boost: Hey, can't hurt, right?
I figured it was a decent way to contribute. That being said, with Hive down around 12 cents these days (even Leo's at 12 cents!!!!), and "Uptober" turning out to be a bust, hopefully "Upvember" pans out eh. Gotta stay cautiously optimistic lol. Plus, let's be real, who doesn't love seeing those sweet, sweet HP numbers go up?
I'm sure you know? We're out here on Hive trying to build something cool. Look, I'm not gonna lie and say HPUD is gonna solve all the worlds problems but every bit helps right?
It's a small drop in the bucket, I know. But every little bit helps, right? Now, if you really appreciate seeing this kinda commitment, maybe consider throwin' a vote my way for Hive witness? hive is very cheap right now
i actually have a $10/week buy order set in coinspot... :-) just so i don't forget to buy it. so hopefully its ticking along in the background....but i was looking up the prices yesterday.... and like.... ooohhh thats low.... should i do more than the regular buy in?
