Spamming communities is a surefire way to lose support as well. I see a lot of Leofinance users adding STEM to their posts thinking that a post about the price of blah must surely be a tech post and it does my head in.

What counts as valid under various tags can be hard to nail down. I'm not always sure myself.
That is true and I do err on the side of caution if I am about to wallop the downvote button but you always can tell when someone is at it
