There are different communities for art, like AlienArtHive, Sketchbook and OnChainArt.
About homesteading you can find a lot of interesting stuff in EcoTrain, but there are also smaller Communities more specifically about Homesteading and Gardening. I also recommend the NaturalMedicine Community, one of my favorites! Ah,there are so many, but you'll find your way around I'm sure :-)

Thank you so much for the welcome and the community suggestions! I'll be sure to check out each one. I'm still stumbling my way around here but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it with a little time and effort. Currently I've been making my way through YOUR blog since you were the one solely responsible for peaking my interest in Hive. Interesting life ya got there. :)
