Hello, Hivers! I'm Bee... (Introduction)

Greetings, Fellow Bees!

Nice to meet you all! Most people call me Bee. I am relatively new to the platform, but I am very familiar with hives 😇 I've been following the whole backstory and birth of HIVE for the past weeks. Though I don't know all of the details, I've wrapped my head around the general idea and it appears to be pretty obvious what has happened. A community that stood up to a professional charlatan and scam artist? Those are my kinds of people... 👾

Background, Experience, and Hobbies

I've been working in the field of blockchain/crypto for about 3 years now, but before that I spent the past 12 years contributing to many non-profit projects around the world and using my skills to support people and projects that I found to have positive missions and most importantly, their actions were in unison. Many of these projects revolved around environmental protection/regeneration, permaculture, endangered wildlife conservation, etc. I have always been fascinated with designing and engineering systems that are more in balance with nature/natural laws. Currently, most of my time is dedicated to ZENZO, but I work on a handful of blockchain-related projects. I don't have much time for freelance work, but occasionally take opportunities where I really believe in the team, vision, and project.

Most people are familiar with me as a designer, but I really enjoy bringing good ideas to life, regardless of what phase of the project or conception. I see it as a form of alchemy, manifesting a concept or mere idea into something tangible. I've spent a majority of my time working as a brand developer, really laying the foundation for new projects, organizations, and businesses. Some of my most used skills are 2D design, UX/UI, 2D animation (basic), pixel art, 3D design, writing, and revision (English).

I love many types of music, art, design, technology, games, nature, animals, ya know... life, basically. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, and really anything outside, as I spend a majority of my time on the computer (gotta have that balance). Currently, I am spending most of my time in the realms of gaming, cryptocurrency, and blockchain.

My "Hive" - ZENZO Ecosystem

For the past 2 years or so, myself and a bunch of amazing people around the world have created our home away from home. This home is called ZENZO. ZENZO is a project that has quite a similar backstory with Hive, a community standing up to face the day and say "Nope, it doesn't end here.". So, what is ZENZO? It is an all-encompassing gaming ecosystem, driven by blockchain, created for gamers and game developers. We are working on a plethora of tools and our own solutions to help solve some of the largest issues currently in the space with blockchain gaming. One of our primary goals is to help push for the adoption of both blockchain and cryptocurrency around the world, specifically through the gaming industry. PS: Don't worry, we're friendly. We see ourselves as allies with all other blockchain/crypto projects as long as we don't find them to malicious and of ill intent.

What Can I Contribute to HIVE?

Well, for starters, I am happy to contribute good energy to good people and good projects. I'm still really new to Hive and not fully sure how everything works and what all this ecosystem offers. I would like to dabble more on the side of the blockchain infrastructure and learn more about this system, as recently I have learned some very interesting things about Hive.
