What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
We seen a nice increase this wee and the past 4-5 weeks some been good with us seeing more incoming HP delegations. With a total of over 130k now, we now becoming a powerhouse now that HIVE is mooning past 45 cents!!
A solid week with a curation APY of 8.14%. The voting power is remaining around the 90% mark which is good. I did rebalance voting this week, a few people had to be added, a few removed and all over, the same VP is being used each day. Each account gets 1000% of upvotes per day, we allocate votes for 1600% knowing that not everyone posts every day. As we head into the bull, I assume more people will start to post content and I'll need to reduce this down toward to 1300-1400% range. It's hard to get just right but I've a few years of experience and always find the sweet spot where VP stays around the same area. It takes a little playing around.
We earned 203.83 HP this week which is excellent and still over the 200 benchmark we have in place. Earning this much lets us continue to powerdown 200 HP per week to transfer to @eddie-earner to increase its HIVE income pool.
Half of the curation rewards are used to create and mint new EDS into circulation. These new EDS are shipped to folks that delegate HP to @eds-vote. This week we minted 101.92 EDS. This amount has become pretty standard for EDS and its a nice amount im proud of. Thats over 5000 a year, some projects would struggle to sell 5k of tokens each year, lol.

EDS-vote is doing well but it could be doing better.
I was updating the outgoing votes this afternoon and noticed that 29 of the 47 people that delegate to @eds-vote delegate 1000 HP. EDS-vote has been set up to distribute EDS tokens while growing EDSs weekly HIVE income but I knew when I started this that some people would delegate only for the upvotes and sell the EDS. There is nothing we can do to stop this but...we can take advantage.
As growth for @eds-vote slows down, I ponder to myself if we offer an upvote for delegating 1000 HP, should we offer a bigger upvote to those that delegate 2500HP? Im sure we'd soon see an increase of 10-20k incoming HP. More HP means higher curation rewards which means more EDS minted and more HIVE being pumped into @eddie-earner.
What about those delegators dumping the EDS?
Good, EDS is overpriced and should trade for 1 HIVE each. We kind of cursed ourselves by being too good at what we do and being able to pay out a weekly HIVE income of over 25% APY.

I kinda of trying to the most value from the ones how delegate exactly 1000 HP to get the upvotes. My thinking is if they want upvotes, we'll offer higher votes for more HP. In a few months time, we'll have a bunch of people that delegate exactly 2500 HP.
Going lower tiers not really an option.

You need to un-delegate yourself.
Go into your HIVE wallet on peakd.com and click where the red line is
Your current delegations will show on screen. Find your 100 HP to @eddie-earner and click on the red bin to delete it.
When you un-delegate, there is a 5-day waiting period you have to wait before you can use that HP again. This is in place to stop HP abuse.

ive been putting a close eye to the EDS market and almost anyone is dumping EDS recently, so i dont think the ones looking for only upvotes are actually selling them
