Shame that your son couldn’t have the traditional birthday, my daughter had same experience. Guess we’ll make up for it on the next one but can’t say my wallet looks forward to that. I think I’m one of the weird ones because I enjoy moving house, probably because I did a lot of that with my mum when I was younger. That’s a good reminder that we need to keep it a positive experience for the kids.
We look forward to a fresh start in a bigger house for sure. We will miss our house (whenever it comes to leaving) because it holds so many big moments for the start of our lives and family.
It will be a sad day, but we’re ready for new things.
