howdy @exyle it sounds like you made the best of a situation that some would have dreaded...being on a boat for 5 hours with a bunch of strange relatives! nightmare scenario for me!
Glad it was pleasant, the boat looks nice and what was the water..a river or canal? Because I've never seen residential houses with backyards which go into water..but then I've never been to your country.

You can see a lot in 5 hours! There were these houses but also lakes and other beautiful nature.
When I was much younger this would probably be the ultimate nightmare for me but nowadays I'm much better.
