So this 'doc' got you to make the diagnosis and decide how many painkillers you need, without any examination?

Okay-dokay, let's see, eight a day for five days... Is forty enough to see you through??

Crazy! At least he managed to do the calcs.

I hope you get better soon @meesterboom, just don't catch a cold now, can't afford to cough!
And, I'm sure getting in and out of bed is a real challenge; you may be familiar with the log-roll method? If not worth looking at the video.

Sort:

I do a similar method to that to get out because I can't raise myself up!!

Doctor's have went right downhill here. I have another appointment tomorrow and I am wondering what madness will occur this time!

I learnt that method after abdominal surgery, very helpful.
It seems like most doctors in large medical practices spend as little time as possible with patients, almost like we're put on a conveyor belt. Nice not to have a long wait anymore, but are they really listening and examining to make a proper diagnosis?
Anyway Mr. Boom, good luck with the doc, I hope all goes well and that you're on the mend soon!

They do spend hardly any time these days. I much preferred it when you had a relationship with your doctor but it seems that's a thing of the past.

Cheers milady, I will be resting and healing like nobody's business!
