A new home on Hive

Did you miss me?

What do you mean you don't even know who I am?!?

OI000818.jpg

I.am.Legend Smallsteps.

Fair enough though, I haven't been active on Hive at all yet - as ever since I walked off that other blockchain, life kinda got in the way with my slaves parents being forced to keep me within easy reach so that I don't sneeze - because sneezing is socially unacceptable to the point that the entire global economy can be destroyed by a single sniffle.

A..

aaaa....

Choooooo!

That cost a billion dollars ^

Which is almost as much as my new house! Well, two new houses!

OI000817.jpg

There has been a lot going on in my life since we last spoke - I turned four and I moved out of home. Part-time.

Me and my parents are undergoing a trial separation, so for a few hours each weekend, I will be staying in my new home, a cute little studio apartment that sits out in the garden and has a lovely view of the future terrace, so I can keep an eye to make sure the sla.. parents are grilling my corn as I like it.

The hardest part of having my own house is making sure they bring me food when I want it, without me having to walk all the way inside my other house and tell them I am hungry.

OI000811.jpg

It is pretty exciting to be out on my own though and it comes with lots of responsibilities. I have even started cooking for fun, just to show them how it is done properly. My imaginary donuts are probably the best in the country - and I make imaginary tea just right.

This is me making Daddy a cupcake - I only made him one, because he is getting a little "cupcakey" himself and my studio is already a little cramped with him in there. I don't want to have to grease his sides to get him through the door, as it isn't easy to clean off the door frame.

The house is an old place and has a lot of character. It was rolled over (literally) from the neighbors place like the slaves did for the pyramids. That makes me a Pharaoh.

The house is almost 40 years old and it could do with a little TLC and a coat of paint, but that can wait until after the winter.

For now, I am just going to "live" in it a little and see what renovations I am going to do, once the parents have finished doing the other house. The other place is good practice for them, so they can make all the mistakes early and get this one done right. Parent training is important.

Well, after a long break away, I am happy to be back and picking up where I left off, a little older, a little wiser (can imagine how wise I'll be when I turn five?) and ready to make sure that you guys don't forget me again.

I like your little place. Hope you can spend many hours playing, reading, and cooking cupcakes. Just make sure you learn how to cook some low-fat ones, especially if you intend to share it with "cupcakey" dad :)

Low-fat cupcakes aren't worth it - so he will have to go onto rations.

What a cute house with a little cute resident. Cuteness overload!
I didn't realize that the house was so big and it looks pretty sturdy.
So, she is training her parents to first fix the big house so that they can use their new experiences to fix the smaller house.

A clever little blessing this!

Ps. Called Marian over and typically she is "ooohing" and" aahing", interspersed with "gorgeous" and "look at this" and "look at that" right here in my ear.
Ear damages will be for your account:)

She is a cheeky little thing for sure!

It is sturdier than I thought it would be, especially considering the rattling it got on the trip over. It has a bit of damage on the lower edge from the snow, but a sand and a paint job will five it new life.

Next time, earmuffs. :D

Like I said, cuteness overload and that little lady is going to enjoy that gift for many years to come. In fact I can see her and her teenager friends gathering in that little house.
Well done mate!

In fact I can see her and her teenager friends gathering in that little house.

They will be banned -it might be my early retirement home.

Hahaha, what makes me think that little lady won't be an easy roll over when she enters teenage hood, especially with a lot of you in her.
I think that you will be easily outvoted by a large margin.

Well there you are! I have the 'membering of you! ❤️

Your profile picture is cute!

Welcome back not so small steps, nice to see you again :)

You are alive!!! I wasn't sure if you would make it through Covid at your age, but I am glad you did :*

Who knows if I will, right now it's my heart that needs to recover!

Did it skip a beat seeing me again?

I guess now that you have your own little house it is almost time to get a kitten or a puppy. I love your little rug, it looks hand crocheted did your mother make that? It goes well with the decor you currently have.

I think you are precisely right - perhaps a dinosaur!

It is hand made by the neighbor and it came with the house. She is very handy like that and helps us in the garden too :)

WoooHooo. Good to see you stepping out. Will you be getting starlink when it's available so you can post from your house too?

I guess it's not good form to call you the cutest kid on the internet to your face, but we both know it's true.

Looks like a great house. I look forward to your renovations and more posts.

Elon and I go way back - so I think he owes me a free connection as a pretester.

I guess it's not good form to call you the cutest kid on the internet to your face, but we both know it's true.

It isn't good form to agree - but I do.

The move went well then, I see. Dads can lift anything, can't they?

Dads can lift anything, can't they?

In the case of mine, except himself off the couch.

That was quaint and utterly cute!

You are so big now!!! time has passed very quickly!!! Congratulations for your new house, it's lovely!!! Wlcome to hive.

Thank you!

I am old enough to fend for myself in the garden - Next summer, I vow I will sleep in the house too.

Every little girls dream house! You are getting so big much too quickly, @smallsteps.
