Hello everyone thanks for reading my blog.
A while back I bought a lot of old books and a few of them caught my eyes.
I would like to know more about these books.
I want to know what language it is in, what year it was written and what kind of book it is.
I thought I would use steemit because there are loads of smart people here and I hope one of you knows what this is.
The language is definitely Hebrew and the style of binding suggests sometime during the 1800s. More than that I can't say, I don't read Hebrew

@hebrew , Could you please take a look at these pictures and tell me if it is in Hebrew and if it is, I would like to know what it is.
I thought it looked like Hebrew when I first saw it. I really wouldn't know though.

I got a bunch of similair ones, some are way older, at least half of them seems to be in the same language, a few other ones in what I thought was arabic, turned out not to be.
I think this is in hebrew but I dont know anyone that speaks hebrew in real life so I can't confirm it.
Where did you get them from?

Someone passed away and their family thought it was to much work to bring them all to storage, so they said I could buy them cheap if in could clear it sound.
I were a lot of books (thousands) had to drive home dozens of times with a stationwagon.
The books I'm talking about are just a few that caught my eye, we allready sold a bunch of books like a 1st edition of oliver twist and a first edition from alice in wonderland, and a bunch of books Written in dutch

Yes I am! Love anything pre ww1, anythin from books to art to items.
Among the books are books over 200 years old, but these look way older.
So this is like book heaven for history nerds like me.
