This question - What could people or government do to help lower the acidity for the cherry trees? is very serious and profound.

I think that this topic deserves more than just a short answer to the question.

The fact is that this tree is a vivid example of the fact that not all our good intentions benefit those to whom they are directed. And from this moment I want to push off.

This tree was planted where it can not be planted. It is located near the forest, where the acidity of the soil is high, this is normal. This creates a biotope that is favorable for the development of many other plants, microorganisms, fungi and so on.

For the sake of this tree to reduce the acidity of the soil there is no sense and it will simply be a crime against other representatives of the flora.

This problem is more than one can imagine. No government program is able to solve this problem.

If we consider this problem on a planetary scale, then, the hair will stand on end.

The basis of this problem is in our desires. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to put an equal sign between our desires and our knowledge.

Due to the lack of deep knowledge of the subject of our desires, more plants and animals die daily, in the world, than as a result of forest fires, or from global warming.

Business, the source of income of which are various plants and animals, and these are mammals, reptiles, birds, insects, fish, crustaceans, mollusks and others, works to satisfy our desires. They are not very interested in whether you have, or not, knowledge of the subject of your desires, on the contrary, the less you know and the more desires you have, the more they earn. This business is comparable in scale and profitable part, with the arms trade and drug trafficking combined.

If your child has lost a turtle, which you bought a few months, or days ago, you run to the pet store and buy another turtle, in the hope that the child will not notice this loss.

You did not buy for this tortoise from the very beginning everything that is necessary for her to live outside the will. And this is a terrarium where there is a lot of water and there is a land plot. This is lighting in the infrared spectrum, which will warm up the turtle and fight fungal infections. This is inappropriate food.

All this - the lack of basic knowledge about the subject of their desires.

We also sell different plants, although the sellers know that we are not able to create comfortable conditions for these plants. We will come again for a purchase.

Sometimes our desires do not sting a tangible damage to our pets, but they bring them suffering.

This can be attributed to the content of dogs, which by their nature love the cool, such as, for example, the husky in a hot climate.

Or the acquisition of dogs with a short snout, such as bulldogs, or pugs, but with a lack of understanding that in the folds on the muzzle of these dogs a lot of bacteria collect. These folds must be constantly cleaned, processed. Otherwise, it will lead to inflammatory processes and the dog will suffer greatly.

This picture shows a very well-groomed pug, it can be seen that its owner takes very good care of it.

The reason that the tree suffers is comprehensive. This lack of knowledge is a haste in decision-making. Our desires run ahead of us and this applies to many areas of our lives.

In the first photo of this post, it is not by chance that a flying bee is depicted.
Beginners, inexperienced beekeepers, sometimes, tend to increase the profitability of their apiaries, due to the quality of the breed of bees.

But, for one region these qualities are good, but for another region, this is a big mistake.

The breeds of bees that were brought out to work in the mountainous terrain are not suitable for flatlands and steppes. There are different temperature regimes. The bee, which lives in the mountains, where it's cool, they are a short time in the cool. The bee flies out of the warm beehive, it's warm, the bees keep the temperature in the hives, in the coolness of the mountains, it's not for long. Here is such a simple example of what our knowledge can save, or take away life from our little friends.

The motivation to put our desires in the background, and to lead the avant-garde of our knowledge, can serve that the lack of knowledge can cause tangible harm to you personally!
