It's amazing that a seemingly simple comment evoked such an in-depth analysis and dissertation.
I agree that human races have done a lot of damage to the environments due to a lack of knowledge and short-sightedness.
I did understand that the cherry tree is where it should not be. The mistake has been made many years ago.
So, the tree has been suffering in acidic soil and survived. Can it feel pain? Was it "bleeding?" Was it crying?" Can it?
Should it be put out of its misery and cut down?
Or, should it be rescued?
My question arose from the latter - right or wrong, who should decide?
Hence the entire question as stated.
Having said that, what should be the answer? Let it be?
My friend, the answer is short. But, as I wrote, I developed the topic. I did not try to teach you. These are my thoughts about topics that are close to me. If in English it sounds different, I'm ready to change, or delete the post. Zoo business and bees is my profile))
I did not take it that way. Your post is very well written.
As I said, and I agreed with you, the tree was planted long ago and should not be there.
So, my question remains ...
Thank you. The second question is more complicated than the first)) It is difficult to say unequivocally. It seems to me that this tree has already run out of tears. This is more like an abscess, a fistula, a furuncle from which the likeness of our lymph flows. This is the last attempt to get the infection out of your body. Be, as it will be, this is something similar to what my father-in-law heard from an oncologist when he was told that he had a fourth stage of cancer. He refused to put the tube into the esophagus. As a result, my father-in-law was dying of hunger and thirst. This is a similar situation with this tree. Even transplanting this tree to another place will not do anything. I looked up, there was almost no leaves left on him. His days are coming to an end.
