Here Are Some Stair Samples To Get You Thinking

I took this photo in Insbruck this past summer. Spiral stair cases are an easy target. You can do much better!

Here Are Some More Samples From Pixabay.com

The shadow lines are part of making this stair case into a piece of art!

Great geometric lines are captured in this interesting example!

That’s very cool. Thanks!

What a great subject! I’m going to try to join in 💫😁

Oh Vee, I'm so happy to see you here. I need someone that understands that I'm looking for stairs as art and not pictures of stairs.

Please do join and let your artsy circle of friends know about this round too!

Hi kus-knee I am sorry I let you down on your stairs, I just didn’t find a picture worth to put in your mundaneart.
Still like your topic 😁😁👍🏻

I really appreciate your visit!

I’m always happy to see you 2 😊

I had such a hard time choosing which set of steps to enter! You already have some really great entries here. I can't wait to see the final gallery.

I decided to go with this set of rather industrial steps.

Different is good and so are you!

Now that is a lovely thing to end my day on! 😘

Hi, this is my entry...This stair is from Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Athens, Greece...
They look like to me as stairs to the sky... :)

Paralex is really on display here!

Wat Arun Buddhist Temple is in Bangkok , Thailand also known as the Temple of Dawn can be seen from the West bank of the Chao Phraya River that runs through the Bangkok city. The Wat Arun Temple is an ancient temple dating back to the Ayutthaya Period the Ayutthayan period was 1351–1767 so it is most definitely a very ancient temple.

Wat Arun Ratchawararam, meaning Temple of Dawn, is the most beautiful-less and most famous temple in Thailand soaring to 70 meter high spiral towers decorated with tiny pieces all colored glass and Chinese porcelain making it a very photogenic temple.

It's important not to fall while taking this picture!

They say that "pride comes before the fall" and, according to the FUDsters, I've got nothing to be proud of. So I guess I won't fall?

Here is the unique stairs of the Crazy House I visited in Da Lat, Vietnam. I love the acrchitect's imagination:

I love these contest you keep doing, they are a great initiative. This is my wife posing on some stairs in Valletta, Malta last year. I think it fits.

Lot's of potential here.

Awesome theme! Here is my entry :) It is the Nohoch Mul Pyramid, the most dominant architectural landmark of the magnificent ancient Mayan ruins of Coba. Location: Yucatan, Mexico

I remember that Staircase very well! I had a serious knee injury at the time and it made it ever so slightly more dangerous...….but once I was there I had to get to the top!

Wow, climbing this pyramid is dangerous even for healthy fit people. Kudos to you for making it to the top with an injured knee! But the view was worth it right? ;)

100% yes indeed - what a great view and a great experience. Good luck in the competition....

Thank you! :)

Thanks for the pic!

The first photo reminds me of how i think it would feel traveling hyper-speed to another galaxy in space:D

As for the next mundane as art round- doors?

What about a photo? Perhaps an artistic shot of the stairs in your camper?

Hello dear friend, it's good that worldly art has returned, I really like this theme, without a doubt they will make beautiful presentations
This image corresponds to the carnival party of the brother country of Paraguay, my daughter Brenda sent them to me.
I take the opportunity to wish you a good start to the week

Very colourful!

Thank you for inviting me to the contest.
I'll participate. Here is my entry.

Nice entry!

The case when the stairs are dangerous not only to walk, even to look at it can be dangerous. I took this snapshot of a spiral staircase in an abandoned building.

I love it. Thanks!

Wat Charlerm Priakiet. Mountain temple of floating pagodas.

An incredible temple perched on mountain peaks in the Lampang region of Northern Thailand.

A steep and tricky clamber to reach the steps, and at the top the views are breathtaking !

I'm getting dizzy!

Hello @kus-knee my photo entry from Gateshead, England: Staircase Art.jpg

That's a beauty. Love it!

Probably one of the most famous staircases in the world, the Spanish steps in Rome. Also, the steps are the widest stairway in all of Europe - making them a perfect meeting place, unfortunately during my visit they were renovated...

Interesting facts!

I wrote an article introducing the contest to the Japanese community. I wish for the success of the contest!

I'm glad that I found something nice today to contribute to your stairs gallery:

Click on the image for full screen view.

Check out my post Breaking the symmetry about this image for some background and Exif infos if you like!

Greetings,
Constantin

Great! Well done and thanks for looking at the past galleries we've had a lot of fun!

It seems like you did :)
It didn't even occured to me, that something like an online gallery could exist :D

Oh that is a good contest and to be honest one that will be a challenge seeing I don't think I have any already! Will be interesting.

Looking forward to your participation.

It's good to have contestants who understand that I'm looking for stairs as art and not just pictures of stairs.

Minimalism is much appreciated even when cropping is required.

I'm glad I can participate, I'm sorry I have to choose and I don't know if I will choose correctly...

Choosing is difficult. Thanks!

Yes, good choosing is difficult. With pleasure!
