VR is cool and all but it's stuff like this that really makes me want to have it. I think these guys are doing a kickstarter and their product is not out yet. Imagine this tech combined with 3d printers that could switch materials, maybe someday we can print out clothes that we have ourselves designed. Combine metals to the mix and we have something wild in our hands.
My wallet already cries knowing I eventually just must get VR, this program and a printer... I hope you get yours for christmas! Artist like you could make a business out of it, I bet.
Of course they wouldn't even have to be printed out, people could use them with their avatars in virtual worlds. Modelers have been making huge bucks selling their creations for some time now but we haven't seen anything yet.
