Yesterday I posted a video Shrimps Feeding in Aquarium on my shrimp aquarium. While looking at my shrimps I suddenly saw the gravel on the bottom of the aquarium move and then this weird worm appeared and subsequently disappeared again under the gravel. I haven't seen the worm since.
I don't have the slightest idea what type of worm this is, and would appreciate it if somebody can tell me what type of worm it is, and if it can cause any harm to my shrimps.

ewww super gross... worms are so alien in my opinion. And sealife too, some of the bottom feeders in the ocean in particular are strange beyond comparison.
Anyways, sorry I dont have any idea what that is but nevertheless, yuck! :)

I unfortunately do not know what kind of worm it was in your aquarium. But I think it should be removed. He does not inspire confidence :)

I didn't know what type of species but you have look very carefully through the aquariums.
Yeek, no idea. Can't be good, nothing good ever comes out mysterious worms!
Somebody told me they can actually keep the tank clean by eating stuff in the gravel.
That would make sense. As long as it wasn't the dismembered parts of the other tank dwellers. My friend bought a blue lobster once, no research or anything. Popped out in his tropical fish tank. Two days later the murderous shrimp they it actually was destroyed everything else that lived in his tank. He was a bit taken aback!
I have heard about these lobsters, apparently they eat anything they can catch. (They are actually illegal in South Africa, but as all things illegal, one can still get them, they are apparently invasive)
These little shrimps on the other hand will be eaten by the fish, that is why I keep them separate from my fish.
Yeah they are bd, its the same here, people will get them then release them. Yeek.
They are cute little shrimps!
I hope this won't hurt shrimps. Even this worm is really looking weird.
