It can be a mistake to think you are a typical user, if there is such a thing. Should you be on social media at work? Auto-play videos may catch you out. There is a generation growing up who rarely use a PC. They are on their phones all day using Tiktok and Instagram (which I'm not on). Why shouldn't Hive have a slice of that market? We bloggers can still do our thing for those who enjoy it. We need to nudge the dapps to be usable by all types of user.

One of the perks of Management is you can do 'things' that minions are not allowed to. :-)
I've worked in some places where social media got blocked on the company networks, but people will still have their phones.
I had a customer once ask me how he could disable mobiles when they entered the workplace. And I do mean disable. I pointed out to him that:
A. That might be illegal
B. What happens if a relative is taken ill and the only contact the family knows is the mobile number?
In some areas at places I've worked you have to put your phone in a locker. Most workplaces are pretty relaxed, but some employers won't want people using phones when they should be working. We managed without them in the past. If you can't use it then your contacts should know that.
Mate, you wouldn't believe this is 2020. we get lots of requests to install IP cameras so they can spy on the staff. Of course, it's always billed as "A safety feature for your welfare" but then, two months later, they start talking about "The girls on reception on their mobiles all day long chatting on Facebook."
