I have a little collection of gold nuggets and wanted to share one with you today. I call this one, the bitten burrito:
As you can see, it is a Chipotle shaped burrito with a corner “bitten” off :). This one weighs 0.65 grams of gold. A gram of gold is currently about $63 dollars, so this is about $41 worth of gold. Nuggets do carry a slight premium, though they are not pure gold, so I think a true price is closer to $50 for the bitten burrito.
I love the way natural gold comes in different shapes, patterns and sizes. Hope you enjoyed this one.

Pictures can be deceiving. I thought that was bigger, and heavier than a gram. It looks interesting though, and I don't think I've seen a gold nugget before. It reminds me of the old pokemon games.
